I am back from Tampa. Dylan is recovering from brain surgery to remove an AVM (arterovenous malfunction) which bled. The outlook is good, but he has some recovery time ahead of him. I am thankful for the prayers. My brother and his wife felt so blessed and comforted by the prayers of many people.
My nephew is extremely resilient and has bounced back from a few medical dramas in the past year. We are hoping for the same now. Out of respect for their privacy, and since this is a public blog, I probably won't post much about it after today... although I may still request prayers from time to time if needed.
I missed my family here sooooo much. Now I have to spend the rest of the weekend catching up with lots of things that laid fallow the past week. I should just be happy everyone got where they needed to be, ate, and stayed safe while I was away. Who needs clean towels and underwear, anyway???
Have a blessed weekend,
He'll be in our prayers!
